1. Description

Search on the net for a learning object or try to make it on your own and upload it into the Moodle repository. Please fill in the required metadata, too.

2. Requirements

You can decide whether you find an existing learning object or make it on your own.

Quantity: at least one learning object with its metadata

Type: it can be a picture, sound (music), video (if possible in small size), interactive test, animation (.gif, flash), so anything else but not a text

Topic: feel free to choose any kind of topic but choose one which you can use later in other assignments. Your would-be task in the next assignment will be an integration exercise. You will have to integrate the chosen learning object into a PowerPoint presentation or into a webpage and after that you will have to make a Moodle course using these prepared files.

Size: The filesize should be optimized, e.g. a picture max. 2 Mb, a video max. 10 Mb. Especially when you use sound- or videofiles you should take care about the smallest filesize possible.

3. Formal requirements

Take care about the colors, fonts, styles when you choose or create a learning object.
The file name: tc03a02_xy _object-name.jpg

xy will be your name
object-name: find a simple but informative name that describes the content
jpg: if you use a picture, the extension can be .jpg, .gif, .png, in case of a flash animation .swf etc...
do not use special characters and spaces in the filename!

You have to upload the file into the repository (not here) but you have to paste here the link to that file.

4. Methods

5. Evaluation

The assignment will be evaluated by the tutor. Maximal credit points can be given are 15.
