TC04 - Classroom event in Moodle
The aim of the module to demonstrate how to create the schools learning management system based on open source Learning Management System (Moodle). The teachers will plan a small pilot course to their special subject based on Tenegen’s pedagogical conception and carry on and evaluate it with their student. Method: collaboration, practice oriented learning coached by the tutor and by the instructor. By design most LMSs present a limited, core set of features that sometimes restrict on-line delivery ambitions and intended practices. One advantage of open source systems is that the can be open-ended. It is important here that goals identified in earlier modules are not suddenly dead-ended by unnecessary technical limitations imposed by the delivery environment. Equally, it is important that good practice, use of standards and principled approaches are supported by the delivery end of the overall work flow chain. The good work of the early modules are only fully realized by an effective delivery. -
